SAVANNAH, GA – December 26, 2019 – Savannah Classical Academy (SCA) recently competed in their first Georgia High School Association’s One Act Play Competition, coming in sixth place with their performance of “The Monkey’s Paw.” SCA student Palmer Desborough’s outstanding performance won further accolades as judges selected him to be part of the All-Star cast.
“Participating in the One Act Play Competition helps our students build leadership skills and gain confidence to try new things,” said SCA Director Barry Lollis. “Being involved in the arts contributes to our students becoming well-rounded members of society and I am proud of these student’s accomplishments in their first competition.”
