Savannah, GA – August 13, 2018 – Improved student performance on the Georgia Milestones Assessment System helped lift an enrollment moratorium at Savannah Classical Academy in July a year after the state of Georgia said the school failed to meet academic and organizational benchmarks stipulated in its charter. But some questioned whether the school’s previous test scores reflected the work performed at the school. The relief parents expressed was also accompanied by a feeling of mistrust in the system.
