SCA offers a classical approach to education rooted in the Western philosophy that the purpose of education is to provide a better citizenry.
Classical education uses literature, diverse music, fine arts, and rigorous studies in language arts, science, math, and history to educate children in the ways of civil society.

Overview
Students’ coursework will follow a defined classical curriculum with a strong civics component.
Savannah Classical Academy upholds high academic standards for all students regardless of background, socio-economic status and ability.
Students’ progress is measured based upon mastery of their grade level content through classroom assignments and assessments, as well as on state and normed assessments.
