The annual lottery for Savannah Classical Academy is now open to all students living in Chatham County, from kindergarten to twelfth grade. Applicants may submit their lottery application for the 2024-2025 school year by visiting this link.
Families may also visit the school to submit an application Monday – Thursday from 8:30 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.
SCA’s supportive and well-structured environment leads to excellent academic results. For 2023, SCA outscored both the county school system and achieved parity or superior achievement when compared to all students in Georgia on all 22 state assessment measures.

Savannah Classical Academy is a public charter school serving residents of Chatham County. Therefore, there is no tuition.
SCA does not discriminate against any student on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender or disability. Students are not selected on the basis of ability. SCA is a public, nonsectarian, nonreligious, nonprofit school organized and operated under Georgia State laws.
SCA operates under one county-wide attendance zone. If SCA receives more applications than seats available in a grade level, students are admitted by a lottery process as mandated by state and federal law.
