Pursuant to O.C.G.A. Section 20-2-2066(a), there is no Admissions Criteria for acceptance to charter schools other than living in the attendance zone.
The attendance zone for Savannah Classical Academy is Chatham County.
Residents of Chatham County are eligible to apply and must submit an application.
Interested Parents or Guardians must obtain and submit an application by the designated annual deadlines as outlined on the school website and at the school.
Preference will be given to any sibling of a currently enrolled student children of a teacher or staff member.
As a charter school, Savannah Classical Academy may utilize any enrollment preferences authorized by state law and as specified in the school’s charter contract.
When the number of applications exceeds the capacity of the program, class, grade level, or building of the school, the school shall, after granting any applicable enrollment preferences, conduct an admission lottery.
The admission lottery is a random selection process to ensure that all applicants that do not have an enrollment preference have an equal chance of being admitted.
