5th Grade Teacher
Ms. Calhoun received a Bachelor of Middle Grades Science and Master’s in Education from Armstrong State University. She has 28 years of teaching experience and was driven to become a teacher because of her 5th grade teacher.
When prepping for the first day of school, she makes sure her room will be comfortable and encourages learning. Ms. Calhoun’s favorite part about teaching is her student’s smiles and watching them when they understand a new idea or subject. She keeps her students motivated by reminding them “You can do it. Keep trying. You got this!”
