SAVANNAH, GA – April 3, 2020 – Savannah Classical Academy’s (SCA) first literary team recently competed in the Georgia High School Association’s Area 3A Public Literary Competition, before the pandemic affected in-person learning and competing. The SCA team placed in five different events, coming in fourth place overall. SCA is proud to congratulate Kayla Summer, Makayla Rudolph, Palmer Desborough and RJ Allen for their achievements in the school’s first literary competition.

We are excited to start this new learning opportunity with you. The required change to off-campus learning has accelerated our development of digital learning plans and schoolwide use of instructional technology. Because there will be not state assessment this year for K-8 nor second semester high school classes, this is the perfect window for all of us to become comfortable with our resources and try new learning strategies!

SAVANNAH, GA – March 18, 2020 – Savannah Classical Academy (SCA) announces that the charter school is partnering with Soho South Café to provide meals for students beginning tomorrow, Thursday, March 19 through Sunday, March 22. This support from Soho South Café has been offered to help the families of SCA students during this time of health and economic uncertainty amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This program will run initially for four days before the Savannah Chatham County Public Schools System (SCCPSS) initiates a meal service program for students which is anticipated to begin after Spring Break on Monday, March 23.
